Clinton Paints China Policy With a Green Hue is the New York Times headline on Hillary Clinton’s trip to China.
Hillary basically ignored Tibet and other Human Rights issues as she suggested she “did not want these disputes to interfere with critical challenges like climate change, the global economic crisis and security concerns.”
As the Times article stated:
It was a stark contrast to 1995, when Mrs. Clinton, then first lady, gave a speech in Beijing at a United Nations conference, in which she catalogued abuses against women and concluded by saying that “human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights.”
Where is the outcry over Hillary’s comments? The same people who have tried to shut down Guantanamo becuase of alleged abuses haven’t said a peep as the China government put dissidents in jail or under surveillance during Mrs. Clinton’s visit.
Welcome to the Obama Administration’s “Green Foreign Policy.”
